Artwork Requirements

If artwork needs to be obtained from a 3rd party (i.e., printer, graphic designer), Advance Sign can contact 3rd party upon request to assure file compatability. Customer must contact 3rd party to approve release of information to Advance. (Please provide contact name & phone number.)

To open customer-supplied files, please provide the software/version used, and the file name(s). Please write information directly on disk or include it in your e-mail message. When sending a disk, please enclose a hard copy of text or artwork. When e-mailing, please fax a hard copy of text or artwork.

Accepted Software

We use a PC Windows XP-based system with the following software:

• Gerber Omega
• Flexi-Sign 7.0
• Adobe Illustrator 9.0
• Corel Draw 9

If artwork is created on any other PC software it must be exported as an .ai, .eps or.pdf file - file must be in outline form (converted to curves - including text). If exporting an .ai file, save back to ver. 5.5. DO NOT SEND MACINTOSH FILES. If using Mac, files must be converted to .ai, .eps or .pdf PC files.

Please Note

• When sending art for orders with multiple signs, group all in one file. If signs are saved in multiple files, additional charges may apply.
• If supplied file is inadequate for the proper production of your signage, some cleanup work may be required and additional charges of $45/hour will be applied.
